Good Sense and Good Humor

Do not let others control your thinking.

If you support civil rights, you need not agree on whether or not to support the organization Black Lives Matter. Some of us will not support the organization because of its Marxist leadership. That does not mean we are not for civil rights. One can support justice without supporting that particular organization.

Do not let someones definition of you bother you, especially if they are obviously wrong.

Do not support groups that wish to take freedom of speech away from others. Because sooner or later they will come to take yours away.

In all the hate and hostility don’t forget that there are two important things that need to happen regarding police. First, they need funding and support and secondly in some cities there is a vital need for police reform. Perhaps with some of the police unions?

Remember your enemies should be defined by their words and actions not by the color of their skins.

Enough Good Sense…Now for some Good Humor.

A volunteer knocked on our door yesterday seeking a small donation for the community swimming pool. I gave him a pitcher of water.

I’m so great at multi-tasking. I can sit, do nothing, and procrastinate all at the same time.

The only job I could see myself doing is cleaning mirrors.

I named my dog “ten miles” so that I can say to people that I walked ten miles daily.

If I earned a dollar for every time a girl turned me down, they would eventually come begging to date me.
