So if nothing else, be grateful for heat inside our homes. Keeping a good attitude helps the challenges seem less painful.
Since returning to Iowa I am becoming more accustomed to being surrounded by nature. A lot of animals are nearby, sometimes underfoot. So I decided to share some silly animal jokes for the kid in you.

I don’t recommend books unless I think they are very special. The two I recommend today are very different but are both very good.
The Myths of Creativity by David Burkus is a serious book about the misconceptions about creativity. Read it. You may learn that you are more creative than you believed. Also you may learn how to cooperate with and encourage your creativity.
A Higher Call by Adam Makos is the story of American and German fliers during World War Two. The book is about humanity and mercy during a time of great inhumanity, It is an incredible story!
